Hello!

For the first time ever, I am participating in NaNoWriMo this year.

Don’t know what it is? It stands for National Novel Writing Month, and it takes place every November.

The idea is to write a 50,000 word novel in a month.

Yeah, that’s a lot of words.

No, I have never written a novel before. I don’t even know if I am capable of it, but I’m going to give it a go.

As you may have noticed, I’m more of a non-fiction writer, so we’ll see how this works out.

I’ve had an idea for a story in my head for the past twenty years, and this is my opportunity to write it down, to see if it works.

NaNoWriMo starts on Wednesday 1st November.
