Compiling a list of just ten favourite Prince songs is near impossible, but I’m giving it a go…there are just so many great songs to choose from.
So, in no particular order, here are my ten favourite Prince songs.

He was one of kind. I had heard a quote someone said that he was only guy you will find that will steal your girl while wearing her blouse.
I was never crazy about “Purple Rain” and didn’t care for “Diamonds and Pearls”. There was also a really crude one that I can’t remember the name of.
It would be hard to pick just 10. I have to replace some of the above (but definitely not “1999” ) with “Let’s Go Crazy”, “Little Red Corvette”, “Raspberry Beret”,”When Doves Cry” and”Kiss.
Did you ever see the skit on the Dave Chappelle show where he played Prince in a segment called “Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Stories”? It has some crude language, but Chappelle does a dead-on impression and it is based on a true encounter that Charlie Murphy had with is famous brother Eddie with Prince where they ended up playing basketball and served pancakes for breakfast.

Nice call on the challenge of narrowing it down – I’m not sure if I’d have the song purple rain, but I’d likely have a few more tunes from the soundtrack!
