Green Wing, set in a British hospital, must surely be one of the funniest, most inventive, and surreal TV sitcoms ever. I love it.
It follows a group of hospital employees as they go about their working lives.
Sue White (played by Michelle Gomez) is my favourite character; there’s a strong whiff of psychopath about her, and she’s incredibly funny. See below for the evidence.

Green Wing was broadcast on Channel 4, between 2004 and 2006, and the cast included Michelle Gomez, Tamsin Greig, Stephen Mangan, and Sally Phillips. The entire series is available to watch on Channel 4.

I never really watched that show but I LOVE Michelle Gomez – she is awesome in Doctor Who and I loved her in Bad Education!
