My five year old and I had fun carving and decorating these pumpkins ready for Halloween.
Well, I did all the carving, and my five year old did all the decorating, because a five year old with a sharp knife would not be a good idea, right?
And no, that’s not my child’s blood on there, it’s just red paint.
We were inspired by this video tutorial by DaveHax.

I remember, way back in the sixties, in Scotland we used to carve turnips rather than pumpkins for halloween.

My husband brought one home today. Cut it open and it is rotten! Foulest thing I’ve smelled in a while. Maybe tomorrow 😁
