I thought I already knew the story after watching the movie, but the book delves deeper, providing background and context to Logue’s life in Australia before he moved to England with his family and serendipitously became the King’s speech therapist.

People keep telling me to watch the movie, I haven’t got around to it yet… Maybe I should read the book instead then… 📖

the movie is very good – the book just adds more background information about Logue and how he came to leave Australia in the first place, that’s the main difference, really.
