So, what books did I read this month?

The Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards

A book so good that I read it in just two days.

Small Island by Andrea Levy

Very topical novel set in the 1950s, considering the recent Windrush scandal in the UK, and the anti-immigration horrors of Brexit Britain.

The Naked Man by Desmond Morris

An academic and historical look at the male human body, including chapters on all the major body parts.

Stravaganza: City of Stars by Mary Hoffman

This is the sequel to Stravanza: City of Masks that I read last month.

I know its a children’s book series, but who cares when its this good? I’m about to start the third book in this trilogy.

What have you read this month?

  1. Have read the first two books you have here and thoroughly enjoyed both of them.
I have read several this month but at the moment I am reading Sulari Gentill’s book An Unexplained Murder in the Roland Sinclair series. Her series is set in Australia and all books are related to history. Each chapter begins with a newspaper article. The first article in this book was about Nancy Bird the aviator. The books are very easy reading.
