Time Lord Fairy Tales by Justin Richards

This is a boxed set of sixteen traditional fairy tales, re-imagined for the world of Doctor Who.

With titles like Snow White and the Seven Keys to Doomsday, The Gingerbread Trap, and Jak and the Wormhole, these are quirky, entertaining twists on already familiar stories.

The Doctor appears in some of them, but our favourite Time Lord is never the main character.

Familiar foes such as the Daleks and the Weeping Angels do appear though, adding thrilling twists to these tales.

These are small books, no more that forty pages each, so they can be read quickly, in the manner of a childhood bedtime story. I would say that some of them are a bit too dark for children, though.

They are housed in a handsome box, which looks great on my shelf.
