I was sixteen in 1990 and have nothing but brilliant memories of the music that came out that year.

I had this Inspiral Carpets song on cassette single. Oh, I was that cool.
I loved The Beloved. They’re reissuing an expanded version of their LP Happiness this year.
Saint Etienne emerged in 1990, launching their amazing career.
Another classic from the Manchester scene, The Charlatans.

Agreed! 1990 was such a good year for music. It pisses me off when people talk about 90s music- the early 90s are often forgotten.
