In our house everyday is #ReadingTogether Day, but reading is always worth celebrating.

Here are some books we’re enjoying at the moment.

My 9 year old is loving The Bolds’ Great Adventure by Julian Clary. I hear him laughing out loud when he reads it!

My 9 year old also loves books by Tom Gates like What Monster? The way the illustrations are mixed in with the text make it look less challenging and a more fun read.

Meanwhile, my 7 year old has been devouring these two books by Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre, Oliver and the Seawigs and Cakes in Space.

Both are brilliantly illustrated to really engage the reader, and the stories are funny and fast-paced.

Finally, a book we’ve been reading together is this one.
