This is my childhood collection of 1980s Dandy annuals.

I used to receive one of these annuals every Christmas.

These ones range from 1983 to 1989, when I was between 9 and 15 years old.

Popular and recurring characters included Desperate Dan and Korky the Cat.

They were later joined by Bananaman, from a popular TV show.

The Dandy was a British weekly comic that was published for 75 years until 2012.

Although the weekly comic itself is no longer made, the annuals are still published every year, keeping the characters alive.
