A Kind of Spark by Elle McNicoll

This is a children’s book with an autistic protagonist, Addie, who finds out about historical witch trials in her town.
It has taken the literary world by storm – and with good reason. This is an outstanding children’s book that not only celebrates neurodiversity but also presents characters that autistic children can see themselves in.
Here’s the author, Elle McNicoll, in an interview about the book.
