I’m a massive Pet Shop Boys fan. In reverse order these are my top five favourite Pet Shop Boys videos….

First up: So Hard which was filmed around Newcastle and features two couples torn apart by cheating. Chris Lowe looks suitably glum throughout.

The video for Heart has it all: a wedding, Halloween vibes, and Ian McKellen as a vampire in love with the bride. What’s not to like?

Domino Dancing was filmed in Puerto Rico, and features a love triangle between a girl and two guys. The whole thing looks beautifully sun-kissed.

This video for What Have I Done To Deserve This is an 80’s classic with a perfect palette, capturing the aesthetic of the actually album cover by featuring both Neil and Chris dressed in formal suits. Oh and showgirls. And Dusty Springfield.

But their best ever video has to be this one, for the song Being Boring. Decadent, poignant, stylish and shot by Bruce Weber. It made me wish I went to parties like this.
