Here we are hurtling towards the end of the year at lightening speed, and what a great year for music 2020 has been.
Supervision by La Roux

released 7th February 2020
Three words to describe this album: addictive, infectious, evocative.
This album is so wonderfully evocative of the 1980s; there are echoes of Janet Jackson, George Michael and Nile Roger’s style production.
In these songs I can hear nods to 80’s blockbuster albums Faith and Control, but Supervision remains undeniably a purely La Roux record.
More of my favourite albums of 2020: What’s Your Pleasure?, Apolonio, Night in the Park, Kiss in the Dark, Chromatica, modern anxiety and Róisín Machine.
Give Supervision a spin on Spotify.
