This week I’m reading Tom Allen’s autobiography No Shame.

Here he is talking to Jonathan Ross about one of the stories that appears in the book.

My wife gave No Shame to me as a Valentine’s Day gift; we both love his sense of humour and he’s the main reason we watched GBBO: An Extra Slice.

As you’d expect from a professional comedian, No Shame is very, very funny.

Among the laughter there is a more poignant tone as Allen shares his experiences of growing up gay in suburban England and feeling like he could never fit in.

A highly recommended read!
