A to Z Best 90s Albums: Maverick a Strike

M is for Maverick a Strike by Finley Quaye

Released in 1997, the album spawned the singles: Sunday Shining, Even After All, It’s Great When We’re Together, Your Love Gets Sweeter and Ultra Stimulation.

This album is like a time machine; it takes me right back to 1997 and 1998, when I was out with my mates, enjoying a sociable life that felt like it would last forever, without a care in the world. Maverick A Strike sounds like a summer’s afternoon in a pub beer garden; what I wouldn’t do to be back there now.
