A to Z Best 90s Albums: The Martyr Mantras

Today should be the letter Q but because I don’t have a favourite 90s album starting with that letter, I’m using a *wildcard* to post The Martyr Mantras by Jesus Loves You, instead.

Jesus Loves You was actually Boy George, and this album is a sublime, forgotten gem.

The best-known single from the album is probably Bow Down Mister.

The Martyr Mantras was not a massive commercial success, but in my opinion, it’s an overlooked masterpiece.

Stream the album below, you won’t regret it!

More A to Z Best 90s Albums: Achtung Baby, Blissed Out, Conscience, Debut, Erotica, Foxbase Alpha, Garbage, Homogenic, I do not want what I haven’t got, janet., Kylie Minogue, Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1, Maverick A Strike, 99.9F, Odelay, Play
