Caron Wheeler is, of course, best-known as a vocalist with Soul II Soul, and their epic smash hits Back To Life (However Do You Want Me) and Keep On Movin’.

Unfortunately the album is currently unavailable to stream (why?) so you’ll have to track down a used copy to listen to it, or buy it on iTunes.

Musically, it’s in a similar vein to Soul II Soul but with more of a dance-pop edge to it and deserves greater acclaim than it achieved at the time. Truly a forgotten gem.
