This week I’m devouring Let’s do it by Jasper Rees, the authorised biography of Victoria Wood.

Victoria Wood was one of my all-time favourite people, and it is pure joy to be able to revisit her humour through this book.
Jasper Rees had access to her personal archives, family and friends which makes this the authoritative book about Victoria Wood.
I have smiled to myself and laughed reading about how some of her best-known sketches and songs came into being. I’m already half-way through and don’t want it to end.
The title, of course, refers to Wood’s wonderfully funny song, The Ballad of Barry and Freda.
What are you reading this week?
Can’t wait to read this!
