Five of the Best Depeche Mode Songs: in honour of Andy Fletcher

I admit that I didn’t get into Depeche Mode until late in the game, in 1998 when I got my hands on their The Singles best-of compilation. What a treasure trove that was; Andy Fletcher leaves quite the legacy.

Andy Fletcher obituary in The Guardian: “Fletcher was a keyboardist and passionate proponent of electronics, glorying in the synthesiser’s role in overturning the convention of music being made with guitars and drums.”
