Review of the refurbished Oxfordshire County Library

Well, I finally visited the newly refurbished Oxfordshire County Library in Oxford city centre. It reopened just before Christmas 2017, after being closed during the extensive redevelopment of the Westgate shopping centre. So, what does it look like? Is it an improvement on the old place? Libraries and Me

Going to the local public library with my mother and checking out books with my very own library card is one of the most vivid memories from my childhood. It felt so grown up and powerful, to be able to take whatever books I wanted, to then go home and spend time reading, whether I was slowly savouring every new word, or devouring chapters at breakneck speed, to find out what happened next.
