Fun Friday #3: Green Wing

Green Wing, set in a British hospital,  must surely be one of the funniest, most inventive, and surreal TV sitcoms ever. I love it. It follows a group of hospital employees as they go about their working lives. Sue White (played by Michelle Gomez) is my favourite character; there’s a strong whiff of psychopath about her, and she’s incredibly funny. See below for the evidence. Fun Friday #2: Nighty Night

Second in a new series, looking at my favourite comedy shows. This week: Nighty Night Nighty Night originally aired in 2004 on BBC Three before moving to BBC Two, and only lasted for two series. This is probably my most favourite comedy show EVER. It reflects my love of dark comedy (and believe me, Nighty Night is one of the darkest things you’ll ever watch).
