Music Monday: my top ten Erasure songs

Living through an eighties childhood, Erasure seemed to be a constant musical force, but it wasn’t until much later that I became a fan.

I saw them live for the first time when they were touring The Violet Flame album a few years ago. Vince Clarke got a standing ovation, and Andy Bell’s vocals were amazing.

I’ve been playing their music a lot over recent years. My youngest son liked listening to Erasure while I changed his nappy, and both my sons are enchanted by the Always video.

So, in no particular order (that would be too hard, it was difficult enough just selecting these) here are my top ten Erasure songs.

Always

Chorus

Victim of Love

A Little Respect

Stop!

Drama!

Blue Savannah

Take Me Back

Dead of Night

Oh L’Amour
