“Hit Mix 86” Was The Best 80’s Compilation Album Ever

When I was twelve years old I had this 1986 non-stop megamix compilation on cassette tape (of course). I loved it. I used to listen to it on my TV-Radio-Cassette-player combo; the same model as in this video clip!

Here’s why it was the best 1980’s compilation album ever…I mean, these were just ten of the 86 songs featured on there!

Let’s Go All The Way  – Sly Fox

Imagination – Belouis Some

I Won’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me – Nik Kershaw

Set Me Free – Jaki Graham

Clouds Across The Moon – Rah Band

Trapped – Colonel Abrams

High Energy – Evelyn Thomas

Say I’m Your Number One – Princess

Don’t Waste My Time – Paul Hardcastle

The Reflex – Duran Duran

If you want a taste of what the non-stop megamix sounded like, some kind soul has uploaded it onto YouTube.

Oh the memories. I just found a vinyl copy on eBay and have made the purchase…can’t wait until it arrives!
