The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness.

Well, it’s finally happened.

I’ve raided my wife’s bookshelf. She has a lot of Ness’ work, and this seemed like a good place to start.

I finished The Mirror & The Light last week, so I needed something a bit lighter to read, and to distract me from the events of the real world.

This slice of YA fiction about a group of teenagers in an American high school seems like a great place to escape to.  Oh, and there’s a healthy does of magical realism, fantasy and the supernatural thrown in for good measure.
