I’ve just finished reading this wonderful book by Ruby Wax, Sane New World.
In it she explores the differences between our physical brains and our minds, between reality and our internal thoughts. It is sort of an instruction manual on how to use our minds to become more mentally stable, to be more in control of our minds. In short, it introduces mindfulness as a technique to make us all feel better.
Don’t worry, it’s far from boring: I laughed out loud a lot reading this!

A few years ago I read Wax’s How To Be Human: The Manual which also explores mindfulness and the close relationship between our body and our mind.
Both books are brilliant, and really can make a big difference in how you think and use your mind to make you feel better.
